For this project, we created new branding for a museum and designed key pages of their website. We then had to animate the logo and website. We considered how the animation can express the museum's essence and the stories it tells, visually translating its mission, collection, or featured exhibits into a meaningful extension of the museum's identity. The concepts were supposed to be unique and convey how we relate to the museum. We intentionally animated the logo in a way that connects to what it is.
While walking around the museum, it is quite dark. The displays provide moments of illumination that take you into the scene. This concept plays with the idea of a window into a different parts of time and different places that we can only experience through a musuem.
